(शिव) Hindi myth name of one of the Trimurti, SHIVA means "the destroyer." Åšiva means "auspicious" and is an epithet of several deities. In Tamil, Å›iva means "red." The other two Trimurti are Brahma "the creator" and Vishnu "the preserver."Â
