Sarcastic phrase used in one of two ways: 1) As a response to a question to which the answer was not known and not cared about, eg "Where's Lee gone?". Response is "Hes up Jack's ass picking daisies". or 2) A response to a question whose answer was patently obvious. E.g. you see Lee doing some painting and ask. "What are you doing Lee?".
