Liar
Gap between the tyres and the ground when both wheels are in the air (having one tyre on the ground doesn't count). You "catch air (space)" when you jump.
Liar. 'e's a bit of a dunlop
Noun. A roll of fat around one's midrift. [1920s] {Informal}
Rims on car. (ed: still no clue what a 'rim' is but we got the following extra info.:) "She put 20 inch DUBS on her 2002 Lincoln Navigator last week. Custom 20 inch rims (or bigger). Really wide rims. The slang word originated from American Hip Hop culture (1999 or later). Common on Lowriders, SUV's, trucks and expensive sports cars. (ed: so still no real clue what a 'rim' is. Is it the same as a hub cap?). But then Iain sent this in: In the entry "dubs" you say it refers to "rims" and you don't know what that is, what it refers to is the actual wheel on the car/truck/bus not the hubcap, so 18inch rims are wheels with a diameter of 18 inches, tyres go on the outside of the rim. So people would refer to having alloy rims (or just alloys) when they had alloy wheels on the car. Which solves that!

n tire. The black rubber things around the wheels of your car. The British spelling in this particular instance is, well, curious.
A BMX stunt. A "burn" often described the result of riding up to your mate's bike (whilst it was also in motion) and touching his back tyre with your front tyre, resulting in a wonderful "zipppp" noise and a friction burn mark on each tyre. Most often used in the context, "I'm gonna burn you up!" which usually triggered frantic pedaling and squeals as the victim tried to out-run his pursuer. Always misunderstood by adults. Tell your dad that, "Matthew was trying to burn my tyre!" and he would storm round Matthew's house, full of misconceptions involving blow-torches and lighter fluid.
